Ultra Clear Glass (Low-Iron Glass)
Ultra Clear Glass, also known as low-iron glass, is a high-clarity glass substrate designed to deliver improved optical transparency and reduced color tint compared with standard clear glass.
By lowering the iron content in the glass composition, ultra clear glass significantly reduces the greenish tone commonly found in conventional float glass. This results in higher visible light transmission and more neutral color appearance, making it suitable for applications where visual clarity is important.
Ultra clear glass is widely used both as a base material for optical and functional coated glass and as a high-transparency substrate for general glass applications requiring improved visual quality.
